Mmmm, nothing beats waking up in the cold and downing some of this awesome breakfast. Prepared by Kevin and other Algonquin College students during a winter camping expedition – it goes to show that just because your in the backcountry, doesn’t mean you still can’t eat well! All of the ingredients were dehydrated before cooking. A useful tip is to bring along a few 1L water bottles to use as “re-hydration chambers”. Re-hydrating your food the night before, will reduce cooking time and fuel spent. Very ideal when in dicey weather conditions.
